Ted’s Restaurant has been proudly serving Birmingham since 1973 and visiting film sets since 2018! Tasos and Beba bought Ted’s in 2000 and still continue the tradition of cooking up southern soul food with different twists.  Great food is our passion! Over the last nineteen years, we have catered for different athletic teams, weddings, corporate holidays, and festivals. Now due to the growth and expansion of the film industry in Alabama, we have expanded our catering to include film and television productions. Ted’s Restaurant specializes in custom menus that will appeal to the most challenging of palates and hungriest of film crews.

In 3 short years, we are proud to be considered one of Birmingham's premier film caterers. We will serve our freshly prepared food in a timely manner and with the highest level of professional service. We understand the importance of logistics in film. Our experience on sets includes:

We only use the freshest and finest quality products to create delicious meals. Our extensive menus mean there’s something for everyone, including food allergies, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. Ted’s can offer a variety of international menus ranging from Greek, Italian, Mexican, Asian and of course Southern! Breakfast menus include hearty options with eggs and meat choices and a variety of healthy lighter options. We prepare homemade gluten & dairy-free baked goods and granola cereals. We have found speciality soups are a surprising set favorite. We also have Tasos Touloupis, who loves keeping a film set as happy as his family. Our lunch and dinner menu can be customized to your specific needs without ever losing our warm, delicious Southern charm.
